Christmas is coming to Lancaster, and Ruth Schuler should be counting her blessings.
Her beloved sister is coming home. The snow-covered countryside is alive with Christmas preparations. And six months into courting the steady, gray-eyed carpenter Lucas Weaver, Ruth finally believes her future may be filled with love.
Then Elam Mast disappears.
When the bitter-tempered farmer is found dead, suspicion falls on the one man Ruth cannot bear to lose. Blood, a knife, and other damning evidence are discovered in Lucas's buggy—and his earlier confrontation with Elam gives the sheriff every reason to believe he may be guilty.
But Ruth knows Lucas.
As whispers spread through the Amish community and Christmas draws closer, Ruth begins searching for answers hidden beneath old grudges, family secrets, and a bitter inheritance dispute.
Someone wants Lucas blamed for murder.
And unless Ruth uncovers the truth before it is too late, the season meant to bring them together may steal their future forever.

A Christmas mystery. A man accused of murder. And a woman who refuses to abandon the man she loves.
Snow has settled over Lancaster, and Christmas is approaching.
For Ruth Schuler, life has finally begun to feel hopeful again. Her sister Esther and her family are coming home for the holidays, the community is busy with Christmas preparations, and Ruth's relationship with the gentle, gray-eyed carpenter Lucas Weaver has grown into something deeper than she ever expected.
Then Elam Mast is murdered.
Elam was known throughout the community for his temper and his ability to make enemies. But when disturbing evidence begins pointing toward Lucas, Ruth's world is turned upside down.
Lucas had publicly confronted Elam.
He had been seen near the Mast farm.
And when blood and Elam's belongings are discovered hidden in Lucas's buggy, the sheriff has little choice but to take him into custody.
Ruth refuses to believe the man she loves is capable of murder.
Determined to clear Lucas's name, she begins following a trail through old family resentments, bitter arguments, buried promises, and a long-simmering dispute over inheritance. The deeper Ruth investigates, the more she realizes that Elam's death is connected to secrets someone has spent years trying to keep hidden.
But the real killer is watching.
And as Christmas Eve approaches, Ruth must find the truth before Lucas loses his freedom—and before the season that promised them a future together becomes the one that tears them apart forever.
Snow, Secrets, and a Stolen Season is the gripping sixth and final installment in The Ruth Schuler Mysteries, filled with Amish life, Christmas warmth, clean romance, family secrets, suspense, and a mystery that will keep readers guessing until the truth is finally revealed.
The story's central conflict and planted evidence against Lucas are grounded in the manuscript.
