What has happened to Robert Roberts, the new actor in town? Clarissa, Paw, and their friend, Shelbee, discover the back door of his house wide open. It is evident that a struggle has occurred in his kitchen. Where is he? Where is his cat, Kathleen? And why does his parrot keep yelling, "No! John! No!"
As they canvass the neighborhood for Kathleen, Paw sniffs out a clue to the missing actor. Sleuthing noses to the ground, the mystery leads them in a dangerous direction.
