Ivy Merriweather survived her first Halloween season in Harvest Hollow. She has more than earned a quiet November... she is not going to get one.
Between apple hand pies, fresh-pressed cider, Thanksgiving preorders, and a chonky orange cat named Nutmeg who now holds an official badge and a standing cream contract, Ivy has plenty on her plate.
Then a crate of impossible apples arrives at the bakery with no sender and no delivery slip, just a note about the cold months. By the next morning, one of Ivy's neighbors is gone... her house empty, her cream contract unpaid, and not a soul in town who saw her go.
The police chief says grown women are allowed to take trips. The old-timers tell a different story. Leave the harvest offerings, they say, and the Hollow Guests keep to themselves. And Ivy's kitchen magic keeps insisting that somewhere close by, a hearth has gone cold.
