A young secretary is found dead in her home due to suspected carbon monoxide poisoning. However, as the clues emerge, it's clear that someone killed her to hide their secrets.

Even as the world tries to paint her as a woman with deteriorating mental stability, Daphne knows better.

She begins uncovering what truly happened that fateful day and discovers several suspects along the way. One of them is a potential "seer" whom everyone believes is a complete charlatan.

During her investigation, Daphne stumbles upon some of the victim's possessions. They reveal insight about the past that she never anticipated. Specifically, she finds a recording from June 17th of the year her brother died.

Why is that date so important? It's the day before Lucas' plane crashed. In that recording, she hears the voices of two men speaking in code. What did they say?

By the end of her investigation, Daphne also believes the seer is a fraud. The woman lacks the magical energy present in other witches and warlocks.

However, her opinion changes when the seer grabs Daphne, and she sees a vision that terrifies her to her core.

Looming darkness approaches Shadow Woods, and Daphne doesn't know how to stop it. Luckily, she has her friends and family around her, and they're ready to protect her from anything.

Yet, she suspects that the seer's vision revealed something entirely out of their control. Worst of all, she saw familiar faces in that vision…
Can she solve the murder and save Shadow Woods?
