These women aren’t the norm, they’ve made their mark in a man’s world and shattered the glass ceiling.

Stress is the name of the game for me. Being a cardiac specialist means your patients have bigger problems than most. And add in being a woman in a male-dominated field and it's hard to keep it all going without losing the respect of my colleagues. I've lost patients. Struggled with men thinking they know better than me.
But I've never had someone threaten me. Until now.
I can feel someone watching me. Feel him getting closer. So when a patient's son offers to help, I have to jump at the offer.
