When the owners place a kitty cam around the neck of their wandering cat, Miss Kitty returns with the image of a lone shoe...which might be evidence of murder!

Retired teacher Carol Eliot's cat keeps disappearing, and her husband, Bill, comes up with the perfect solution--one of those new video kitty cams that attach to a cat's collar. From viewing the video, they can find out where Miss Kitty sneaks off to every day. They replay the video and see something odd in the creek near the woods behind their suburban neighborhood--a lone shoe. Carol is sure the shoe belongs to her neighbor, Sylvia. In fact, she was wearing a pair matching the single shoe's description to party last night. She also witnessed a fight between Sylvia and her husband, Dennis. Now, Sylvia's gone and so is the shoe! Did Sylvia's husband murder her and destroy the evidence? Or was it Adam Carson, who Carol suspects might be having an affair with Sylvia? Or Rudy, a young man heading for trouble? Carol must find out the truth before the killer learns that she has proof.
