Trail to Elsewhere

After seven-year-old Brad and his younger sister Julie are orphaned, they are separated and adopted by different families miles apart. As they grow up, each must face their own challenges: Brad's new brother Saul is hostile and brutal, while Julie, treated as a drudge, sees her only means of escape in marrying a man she does not love.
