Vixens of Horror: Vintage Edition is a collection of stories focused on women living in the 1950s who suffocated under a sea of oppression only to find their voice through channeled rage. These stories are written by some of the strongest women I’ve met in our community, who have built their own empires through hard work, dedication, and pure grit.
Some of the authors are making their debut and sit among examples of what it takes to be a woman writing in Horror today. It is my hope to continue bringing collections that touch on serious subjects with a tongue-in-cheek approach. Horror is designed to make the reader uncomfortable, so be prepared to squirm. They say beauty is skin deep, but we’ll be digging deeper for the squelch and juiciest parts.
