Once, she ran with the wolves. Once, she traveled to strange worlds and encountered impossible creatures. Now, however, Jess is living an ordinary life in an ordinary town, raising her son and trying to find some meaning to her existence. But old habits die hard, and soon she feels herself drawn back to the fight.
