This is the first book of the duet (a true series) and ends on a major cliffhanger. It’s a slow burn with a lot of tension and action, but fear not—you will get a resolution to everything in Book 2. The FMC has a few males adoring her, but she ends up with one. Strong language and adult situations. 18+. The second book follows shortly after.
