Head Over Heart
(2027)(The first book in the All Hallows of Feyland series)
A novel by Brigid Collins
Set in Anthea Sharp’s world of Feyland: What if a virtual reality video game was secretly a portal to Faerie?
Love is just a game…
Cecil isn’t a big fan of ‘hacky-slashy’ games. But Feyland’s new life-sim update is a different story. He’s having the time of his life building up a farm, growing crops, and even courting the charming villagers, all within a fantastical virtual reality world. Then, after exploring the dark faerie forest nearby his farm, he finally finds the perfect marriage candidate: a spookily-designed Headless Horseman named Eoin who oozes shy charm from beneath his creepy exterior.
How can a Halloween geek like Cecil resist?
Except Eoin has a secret. He can’t possibly tell the handsome farmer who keeps bringing him gifts that he’s a genuine fey nightmare, or that the graveyard Cecil visits him at is actually located within the true Realm of Faerie. If he does that, Cecil will surely take the entirely sensible option of running screaming and never log in to Feyland again.
And Eoin is too severed-head-over-heels in love to risk that happening.
Genre: Fantasy
