Sorry I Broke Your Fiancee
(2025)(The third book in the Demon in My Dorm Room series)
A novel by Chelsea M Campbell
My husband's ex had a literal meltdown at our wedding and it's all my fault?!
The good news? It turns out I'm as powerful as Ash has been saying I am. The bad news? I might have broken Evergreen, Blaze's fiancée. Who also happens to be Ash's ex. But I'm sure that has nothing to do with why she burst into flames the moment me and Ash said "I do."
It definitely won't make all of us living together super awkward or anything. Neither will Ash's parents making it clear they disapprove of Evergreen changing her element. (At least they don't know I was involved, though that doesn't stop his dad from claiming I'm a bad influence. Which is, like, WTF?) And if even Evergreen, who's perfect and intimidating and checks all the right high-society boxes, is struggling to fit in with the family, is there any hope for me?!
Probably not, but that doesn't stop me from signing us up for an important, formal event I don't know the rules to, grilling Blaze about the real reason he originally hooked up with Evergreen, or taking nobility lessons from Ash's mom.
Because if I'm ever truly going to be a Fireborn, I'm going to have to start acting like one. Even if that means not just leaving my comfort zone, but completely demolishing it. And, like, not embarrassing myself every chance I get.
I'm still working on that last one.
Genre: Young Adult Fantasy
