Two former sailing rivals. One fake dating contract. What could possibly go wrong?

Isabella St. James was going to be okay. At least that is what she told herself as she walked through the doors of Falmouth Heights Yacht Club. It did not matter that she had just quit her job in consulting after five years from burnout. Or that she now lived in a rental house only a few streets away from her parents’ summer residence. Or that they kept pestering her about why she was single again—thanks to Asher Evans who proceeded to take the opposite end of the ultimatum Isa had thrown at him.

It was all going to be okay, because she was back here, in the salty air and summer breeze of Cape Cod, at the place where it all started—FHYC—the harborside building where she got her love of sailing and skill that took her all the way to captain of the Harvard Sailing Team.

Maybe she had hit rock bottom, but at least it could only go up from here.

Cue Christian Windsor the Third aka Tripp aka the devil’s spawn aka the former captain of the Boston College Sailing Team—her biggest rival and soon to be partner in revamping FHYC’s summer program. They hadn’t seen each other in five years, since they both graduated and left Boston, but somehow the tech entrepreneur turned billionaire had landed himself back in her life.

Now all they have to do is get a losing team of entitled rich kids to the North American 420 Nationals, that is, if they don’t kill each other first. But how hard could that really be?

Love at Low Tide is a Fake Dating, Contemporary Rom-Com for fans of Elin Hilderbrand and Tessa Bailey that takes place on the sandy shores of Cape Cod.
