She's not supposed to be alive. He's not supposed to care for his captive.
Aurelia is a serpent goddess, who served as a spy to the King of Ardenvale, before the new treaty deemed her kind dangerous and condemned them to death for the sake of peace between the four kingdoms.
Out of love, the king spared her. She fled Ardenvale and was later captured by Damien, the Duke of Blackwell, a crime lord dressed as a royal, who runs illegal auctions of rare items he collects across kingdoms.
Knowing who she is, Damien blackmailed her into working for him, keeping her as one of his crew… until a new player arrives in town. A pirate with an agenda.
Aurelia’s task is to seduce the pirate and uncover his secrets… little did Aurelia know this task would thrust her back into her own past.
Now she’s got her fate tangled with the pirate. The only problem is… she can never walk away from Damien. And he would never let her.
