As Willa’s quest to clean out the bookstore continues, so does her desire to find out more about the secrets her aunt kept hidden, including those surrounding her birth. When a strange package her aunt had ordered before her death shows up at the store, Willa can’t help but wonder if its contents might answer some of the questions keeping her up at night.
Unfortunately, those questions aren’t the only thing Willa has to worry about. When a masked man breaks into the book store and threatens her life, Willa starts to question who she can trust and who is willing to silence her forever to hide the truth.
With her neighbor, Nick’s, help, Willa sets out to uncover the secrets surrounding her before they bury her alive. Now if only she could get Marge, the cockatoo, to cooperate, things would go much smoother. But that, like a day of peace and quiet, is never going to happen.
