Dear Cupid,

You really did a number on me this time. After eighteen years, I've finally snagged Toni, the woman of my dreams. We're past the misunderstandings of high school and are settling into a relationship, but my job as a veterinarian keeps getting me up a creek without a paddle.

First, a kitten comes on the scene and Toni's five-year-old daughter takes a shine to him. The situation is past complicated, because there's also Ridley - the resident pet who catches a case of jealousy. Then there's Jade's abandoned fish and to top it all, the conflict between Toni's ex and me.
