The Bluffing Game
(2026)(The first book in the Desperately Single Seeking Billionaire series)
A novel by J S Cooper
I came to Billionaire Valley to find a rich husband.
Not a grumpy, ridiculously hot single dad who happens to be my new boss.
My plan was simple. Find a billionaire, fall in love, get married, and finally give my sister and me the stable life we’ve always wanted.
Then Dalton Leone AKA Annoying Hot Boss started ruining my dates.
First, he showed up at the bar.
Then he somehow ended up at my table.
And when I finally went on a date that was actually going somewhere, my infuriating boss kidnapped me right out of the restaurant. Like some sort of psycho.
He claims he was protecting me.
I think he’s crazy.
So I decide to get revenge by stalking him right back.
Which would have been a lot smarter if I’d known Dalton had once belonged to the mafia.
Because now his enemies know who I am.
And the only man who can protect me is the one man I absolutely cannot afford to fall for.
The grumpy single dad. My boss. The man who’s starting to make my billionaire husband plan look very, very overrated.
Now I’m forced to live with him and actually accept his offer of protection.
This is not how I had my life planned out.
But I have to admit, I do look forward to his nightly bedroom checks. Even though we have to share the same bed and neither one of us wants the floor.
Maybe my unwanted protector can fill other needs as well?
Genre: Romance
