It's all work and no play for men like him.

Nazario is a hitman who spends his off days doing work pro bono. One night he’s stalking a serial killer known as the Chicago Ripper when he discovers the Valentine’s Day Virgin Auction. It’s not something he would ever choose to participate in or be invited to, his clientele preferring to pretend they don’t use his services, but curiosity gets the best of him. He’s not going to bid on any of the virgins.

One night with the highest bidder and her problems will be gone.

Amy needs the million-dollar payday more than most. At twenty-five she didn’t think she would still be living at home, but she can’t abandon the only family she has left. Her father’s cancer treatments put her into an impressive amount of debt. His insurance wouldn’t cover the treatment he needed so she took out loans. Every penny was worth it, but the interest rates are going to keep her at rock bottom for the rest of her life. No matter how many extra shifts she works they can’t seem to get ahead. It’s just one night.

It’s love at first sight for the hitman but will a woman willing to sacrifice everything for her family be able to love a man who kills for money?

This is an insta-love novella set in the same world as Crescent Ridge Mail Order Brides and the entire story takes place within twenty-four hours of the auction. There is no cheating, or OWD. It has a HEA, and is mafia-lite. This is not a dark romance.
