The Legend of the Honey Island Swamp Monster is that a circus train crashed in the bayous of Louisiana and the chimpanzees escaped. They later mated with the local alligators. The Cajuns call this creature the Tainted Keitre.
Amina McDonough, a life-long resident of New Orleans doesn't give much credence to legends. She's more interested in her best friend's brother, Anton Benoit who happens to be a local cop. He also happens to have a girlfriend and has always treated her as if she were also his sister.
