It’s Christmas on Whisling.

Ellis gets to take a break from his worldwide tour to celebrate back on the island with Julia . . . along with both of their families. What should be a joyous time for all turns sour after hurts from the past resurface in an ugly way. Julia wonders if she’ll ever be able to have the kind of relationship with her family she’s dreamed of.

Maybe the holiday season is a time of wonders because Alexis is approached with a request from the last person she expected—Marsha. Jared’s ex is dating a high school friend of Alexis’ and Marsha wants Alexis to vouch for him. She agrees on the condition that they have a family dinner first so she can see what her old friend is like after the years apart. But when that meal goes south Marsha heaps all the blame on Alexis. And Alexis wonders if she will ever be able to win when it comes to Marsha, and if Marsha will once again seek revenge by ruining Alexis’s relationship with her kids.

Nora hates what Raul did to Amber, leaving her once confident, vibrant daughter empty and uncertain. Thankfully he is out of their lives for good, but Amber is in a vulnerable state and Nora is sure she’ll never be able to forgive him for that. But when Aiden Christensen decides to spend his Christmas vacation at the inn, his eyes set on a certain sister of Amber’s, Amber seems to come out of her shell and Nora thinks that providing a little holiday cheer for Aiden and Elise is just what Amber needs.

Lou is alone. She reminds herself that she has her parents, her friends, her sister, and especially her kids. But there is something about the merry time of year that highlights just how different she wishes things could be—especially with a certain guitar instructor. But with so much standing between them it would take a literal Christmas miracle for Lou and Jax to actually start dating. Then again, isn’t that what the holidays are known for?

Seren could use a miracle of her own. A single meeting could change the future of her pet project. And it does—with one yes, Seren knows it will be a go. Teens battling cancer will have a place to feel comfortable and safe, a hangout just for them. And yet somehow the victory isn’t enough for her. Everything feels hollow for Seren since she lost her son, and no amount of doing good will bring him back. The only thing Seren truly wishes for will never come to pass, but maybe the miracle she could really use is acceptance. And then maybe she could finally feel a little peace this holiday season.
