Charlene and her family move to a deserted lighthouse on top of a hill to fix the beacon light. They are stranded by a hurricane and a mud slide. Bored out of her mind, Charlene finds the diary of the girl who used to occupy the bedroom she is using. The more she reads, the more she becomes like the other girl. She even wears her old clothes. Soon she is even dating the same boyfriend --- despite the fact that he is dead.
