Karla thinks it's bad enough that she has to pick up and move to a ranch in Arizona at the beginning of her senior year in high school. But it gets much worse. Karla finds herself in danger of her life as soon as she crosses the state line. At a rest stop in Texas Canyon a stranger with jet black hair and dark eyes that she's never seen before in her life rolls a boulder down the hill toward where she's standing in the parking lot.
Karla jumps out of the way just in the nick of time. What's worse, there can be no mistake about it. The creep is glaring at her as if he hates her more than anybody in the world. How can this be?
Karla's in danger big time. What should she do next? She'd better figure it out soon, or she will be stone cold dead.
