Diana has everything figured out. She's ready to start her senior year. It's going to be wonderful despite the fact that her family has just moved across the country from Virginia to Tucson to start a new real estate business. She's met a super best friend named Kay who's with the "in" crowd. Kay knows everybody who's anybody. As soon as school starts she's promised to introduce Diana to all the most popular kids at Tucson High. There's even a hunk named Jack who's president of everything in the senior class. Kay is going to set her up with him for a first date.

How could anything go wrong? But why then on the very first day of school does she feel as if somebody's staring at her? She spins around to see a hulking creep with big muscles staring at her from the other end of the hallway. All the other kids stay clear of him, but he doesn't stay clear of her. He follows her around all day and then even puts a rose on her locker.

Talk about weirdos! But this one's downright dangerous to boot. She finds out at the end of the first day of school that Neil Hammond was convicted of murdering his girlfriend last year about this time. He was even sentenced to life in prison. But the judge overturned his conviction on a legal technicality. Worse yet, he used to follow that girl around, too, and give her roses!

This means trouble big time. The guy won't quit. Diana had better figure it out soon. She doesn't want to end up dead.
