(2023)
A novel by

The red deep-sea crab.

The vice-like grip of its pincers can crush bone. Its mandibles can shred prey beyond recognition. Protected by a nearly impenetrable suit of armor, it is a force to be reckoned with.
The great white shark.

It is one of the most feared animals on the planet. Capable of speeds up to twenty miles an hour, it is among the fastest organisms in the sea. Its jaws, lined with serrated teeth, can tear prey apart with ease.

Normally, these animals pose little threat to humans. Normally . . .

High Point, Florida.

Normally a place of relaxation and comfort, the popular vacation spot soon becomes the setting for strange occurrences. A young couple mysteriously disappears during a romantic swim. A shrimp boat departs for a standard voyage, but never returns.

While filming several miles offshore, YouTube star Gwen Kingston discovers a crashed plane on the ocean floor. Inside are remnants of a mysterious cargo. With the help of a whistleblower, she connects the wreckage to a string of sinister events involving a billion-dollar corporation.

The truth reveals itself with a fountain of bloodshed. A massive crab and a shark, mutated by an experimental growth hormone, are feeding near the beaches of High Point. Mutated, lethal, and insatiably hungry, the two beasts rampage near the shores, slaughtering everything in their path.

As the body count rises, Gwen and her crew take it upon themselves to stop these predators. To do that, they must bring them together. Being natural enemies, the two mutants will fight Tooth and Claw until one emerges the victor.
