Life in the settlement of Hope kept getting better by the day. Iris's talent with plants secured our food stores, and the boys from Loch Raven our safety. All we needed to worry about was improving our systems, like running water.
Except for one lingering problem: the Druids. When their leader promised to destroy us, I decided that I wasn't going to stand there and wait for him. We decided to take the fight to him—to wipe out the Druids once and for all so we could finally experience peace.
