(2026)(The second book in the Dark Irish Mafia Romance series)
A novel by Neva Cole
For fifteen years, Padraic Mulqueen has kept two things under perfect control: his family’s criminal ledger, and his hunger for the woman he is forbidden to touch.
Nuala Cassidy was his brother’s fiancée. Now she is the tailor who knows every inch of Padraic’s body—and none of the secrets he keeps in her father’s name.
When the Mulqueen patriarch orders four bespoke coats, Padraic must attend every fitting. Twice a week. All winter. Alone with Nuala, her measuring tape, and a desire neither of them can keep pretending is one-sided.
But in Port Richmond, a favor is never free. Nuala’s father owes the family money. Her livelihood depends on Mulqueen business. And the quiet man who wants to protect her is the same man holding the pen.
Nuala will not be bought. Padraic will not give her up.
With his father watching and the parish beginning to whisper, choosing each other could cost them everything they have spent years keeping safe. And the truth Padraic is hiding may be the one price Nuala refuses to pay.
Book Two of Neva Cole’s interconnected dark Irish mafia romance series. Read after The Enforcer’s Debt and before His Treaty Bride.
