Ava Jones is argumentative, funny and good at swimming. Top of Ava's Wish list is to see her Mum again and she joins forces with a boy named Tal to find the legendary Head of Bran which can get people anything they want. But Ava and Tal soon find out that they are not the only ones searching for the Head. Despite their bravery and ingenuity they get into serious danger and realise it needs greater powers than theirs to save it from destruction. Can Tal use his new-found skills to defeat their enemies?
