Hannah Durand is running from her aristocratic father's idea of a husband for her. She has no intention of going along with his arranged marriage to Pierre Monluc on his way from France. Chad Dawson is thankful for Bridgette's Bounty Brigade and his second chance at life. But what he yearns for is freedom. Not to get out of prison and be chained to a woman he doesn't even know. Well, Bridgette did say he could refuse the bride. She was probably some old maid anyway.
