The Burial Ground

During the demolition of the disused Westcliffe Hospital, workers discover a number of ancient human skeletons. It is initially assumed that they could be a part of the ancient workhouse cemetery but the County Archaeologist is unconvinced and insists on conducting a full excavation. When the archaeological excavation uncovers the partially clothed and mutilated body of a woman, it becomes evident that they have discovered the dumping ground of a prolific serial killer. As DCI Alan Parkes and his team conduct their investigation, they soon begin to realise that they are chasing a sadistic and cunning opponent.
