Small-town attorney, Carrie Winslow has enough on her hands trying to live up to her mother's expectations so when a larger than life FBI agent comes sauntering into town claiming there's a criminal living amongst them, she isn't exactly thrilled. Especially when the agent insists on working undercover...with her as his girlfriend. Ty Hamilton is in Peking, Georgia to find a wanted fugitive, but what he finds is a spicy attorney who takes his attention away from his job. He thought he'd only wanted to get the job done and then get the hell out of Dodge. Suddenly, he finds himself dragging his feet to spend more time with Carrie. And it doesn't take long before he crosses a line and breaks one of the cardinal rules of his job. Never, ever become involved with anyone associated with an assignment. By the time he realizes he's fallen, he's in too deep and going under.

This book was previously published in 2005; however, it has been substantially edited with portions of the plot changed and rewritten.
