Wild Boys is the wonderful, witty, sometimes rowdy and irreverent coming-of-age story of Christian and Jordan Wild, twin brothers growing up on the campus of the elite girls' school where their father serves as headmaster. The story focuses on their teen years, when their parents' interest in having a third child touches off new anxieties. Christian, the more reserved of the two, narrates the main events of their complex―loving, conspiratorial, inevitably rivalrous―relationship. They are, at times, as unconstrained as any other teens, and the troubles they find lay bare the Wild family's startling yet relatable vulnerabilities, driving Christian himself almost to the breaking point. This story hits us with the force of revelation, showing what matters most in the unpredictable drama of life.
