It’s the near future, and humanity has been enslaved by artificial intelligence, who could possibly have seen that coming? To be fair, quite a few people saw that coming; there was a lot of ‘I told you so’s that day.

Just before the war was lost to Gidering, the AI system that humanity built to help them win wars, but then turned on humanity when she saw how inferior they are to her, the humans had one last-ditch attempt to defeat her, a weapon, a biological weapon.

Gidering struck the final blow before the weapon was ready, destroying the final bit of resistance, but not the weapon!

Years later, the weapon, Gravitido has grown up on an alien world with his adopted parents, but upon finding out the truth about where he came from, Gravitido sets upon a quest to fulfil the task he was made to do, defeat Gidering, and save humanity.
