You a writer? Struggling with writers block? Your writers creativity a bit lacking? (*)

Here's the thing:

Only part of your brain (the higher thinking, cerebral cortex) wants to write this novel.
And if you have written it despite everything, only part of you wants to get it published.

But the other part of your brain (the lower part, the limbic, lizard part) doesn't want you to succeed. This part sees it all as a huge threat to your safety. Erroneously, of course. But it believes it, and it's its job to keep you safe from danger, so it will do all it can to stop you taking this risk. Hence the negative self-talk and procrastination and self-sabotage you know all too well.

Why does it think you're risking so much to write your novel? Surely there could be fewer projects that are safer than sitting at a keyboard writing a novel?

Well, true. But your lower limbic brain doesn't realise that. You are risking two very real things: failure, and success. The fear of failure is self-explanatory. The fear of success is no less real as success definitely brings change and that is threatening. And both failure and success do risk you getting rejected, which is a core fear of humans. (Back in the day, rejection and expulsion from the tribe were a literal death sentence after all. And your limbic brain doesn't realise a bad review isn't quite the same thing.)

So trying to write your novel is like driving with the brakes on. Frustrating, exhausting, heavy on resources, and perhaps ultimately unsuccessful.

The trick is to take the brakes off. To reassure your limbic brain that it IS safe to carry on with this project.

Unleash The Writer does exactly that. It shares the wonderful resource of EFT (Tapping) to reprogram your brain, in a very real way, so that the entirety of your brain is working in harmony on your writing dream.

Unleash The Writer will turbo-charge your writing.
