There’s something rotten in Muddlebay.
There is an outbreak of salmonella in Muddlebay and the source is traced to a local pie shop. The next day, the owner, Peter Powell, is found dead in the back of his shop.
Investigating, DS Flynn Moran has to decide if Powell's death was a terrible accident, or a deliberate act? And what about the food poisoning? Did Powell do it himself? If so, why did the owner of Powell's Pies want to kill people?
