In 1996, Kim was sent to the Wimbledon Championships as a reporter for The Sun newspaper. He was not there to report on the tennis matches, but to dig up every scintilla of dirt and scuttlebutt that occurred away from the tennis courts. Kim discovered all the gossip, and the bitching, the petty rivalries and the back-stabbing.
