Perhaps it wasn't always her fault, but somehow Sally Marsdon seemed to attract trouble wherever she went. She had been in continuous hot water for a long time - and now, in desperation, her family and friends - headed by the interfering family doctor, Bruce Carmichael - had decided to give her one last chance to settle down, and persuaded her to take up nursing.
