(The fourth book in the Earthbound Demons series)

I wasn’t born the traditional way. Not like you were. I was made in a factory as a stuffed doll. Then I was flushed away and became a clog in a sewer line.

And then saved by my best friend. Jessie.

Now I’m more. Now I’m a demon with my own name. The Demon of Children. My powers work best when focused on children, although that doesn’t mean that I hurt them. No, I hurt those that prey on children.

Not the norm for demons, but what can I say? Like I said, I was a doll and now I’m not, so I get to make up my own rules that way.

Except it seems that someone is kidnapping children near Chicago. Kidnapping them and sending pieces of them to their parents. They came to Myth and Mayhem to ask Jake to help find their children.

They got me instead.

Now I’m off on my own for a second time, trying to find the kidnapper and the victims before worse happens to them. It’s just that none of it makes sense. As I learn more about what took place, it becomes more apparent that something just isn’t right. And that’s
beyond the obvious.

Can I save them before they’re killed? Can I get to the bottom of what’s happening and help those that can’t help themselves?

It’s up to me to find out. Maybe even with the help of my friends.

My name is Sarah, and I was born to do this.
