My world has changed so much in such a short period of time. With one murder attempt, my sister introduced us to vampires and shifters and magic.

And now I’m neck deep in it and desperately trying not to sink below the surface.

Gahalador, the very woman that created our line of shifters, let me know that the humans will be introduced to our existence. The very thing that has resulted in mob attacks by the humans and violent counterattacks by the supernaturals until no humans were left in that group to threaten them any longer.

Except that’s not an option any longer.

With the spread of the Internet and phones and cameras, the time is ripe for a video taken at the wrong time to go viral, spreading the news to every corner of the globe that we exist.

And I’ve been given a sign, a vision of the future, where just such a mass attack occurs at my school.

Can a high school filled with mixed humans, shifters, and vampires survive a mass attack by humans crying
won’t somebody think of the children?

We’re about to find out.

My name is Jules, and I’m needed at the school to help defend it. Without me there, the school falls and the world burns as a result. It’s either protect them and survive…or fail and die. We’re on a razor’s edge, where one wrong move may mean the destruction of the world as we know it.

Thank God there’s no pressure.
