Ivana likes the perks of being the favored concubine of Maximilian, the new President of the Republic. Hers is a good life, much more comfortable than her previous employment as one of the Republic's official assassins. But when she sees a man with strange scars on his back - and no appropriate security clearance - enjoying the other women in the concubinage, Ivana assualts and kills the intruder. Knowing he wasn't working alone, Ivana's search for answers leads her to a dangerous man - and an even bigger mystery.
