Seth Brown can’t complain too much about working as a stocker and assistant toy doctor at Turner’s Toys, a high-end toy store in a wealthy neighborhood. Sure, the pay could be better–and he could stand if the customers yelled less, but at least he’s normally out of sight, doing inventory or fixing toys. That’s especially a relief during the holiday season, when tempers are high and stress is in the air.
Seth is in the middle of one such toy repair when he meets Clark, a handsome, wealthy older man who seems to like that Seth is polite, good with his hands, and eager to please.
When Clark asks Seth for a little after-hours toy assistance, Seth agrees, unable to help how he’s drawn to the man’s commanding presence.
