Once a lawyer, always a lawyer.

Jerry Mitchell was a successful personal injury attorney who worked long hours for decades, and when he hit his magic number, he retired to finally relax.

But when a friend injures himself on a poorly maintained community pickleball court, he takes on the case as a simple small claim. Unfortunately, Jerry has to play hardball when the owner of the retirement community refuses a quick settlement.

A simple twisted ankle medical bill case will begin to spiral out of control when Jerry uncovers a financial scam that could lead to a massive class action case. But doing so will mean a ton of work, a team of assistants, an office… not to mention overcoming the dirty tricks and sinister maneuvers opposing counsel plans for him.

Jerry just wanted to relax in a comfortable retirement, but once a lawyer always a lawyer.
