How well do you really know those closest to you? Ignoring local gossip about her new neighbour Henri, Sera doesn't hesitate to help him when someone deliberately sets fire to his barn. Henri is a mystery. No one knows where he's come from, or how he ended up with scars on one side of his body. His farm holds many memories from her childhood, but most of all Sera yearns to discover what happened to her best friend Dee, when she and her family disappeared from the farm one hot August night in 1989. Is Sera about to unearth what happened to her friend? And, if so, will this discovery be the catalyst that changes her own future?
