Can Jessica James make it through the hunter exam in one piece?
Someone stole Jess’s memories and she’s pretty damn sure it was her mother because no one else but a night witch could mess with someone’s head like that.
She can’t remember anything before getting left on the ranch with Doc either and for the first time, Jess understands how much that should bother her, but it doesn’t.
Not really.
Because both of her parents abandoned her.
Now a sickness has taken hold of her body which should be damn near impossible considering she’s both a witch and a hunter with blood ties to Lilith, but no one can deny that she’s a lot weaker than she used to be.
Not even Jess can ignore it anymore.
She just needs to make it through the exam in one piece so she can get her hunter’s license - which isn’t as easy as that asshole tiger had made it sound. Then she can worry about everything else.
But the Council of Paranormals doesn’t want someone as dangerous as Jessica James to succeed and they’ll do anything to stop her.
