Brad's Return

Lee worked for Mrs Palmerston and her son, Phillip, who ran the family estate. The other son, Brad, was rarely mentioned, but when Mrs Palmerston was taken ill, Lee wrote to let him know. When Brad returned, Phillip showed an interest in Lee he had never shown before and accused her of favouring Brad. Lee was afraid to accept Brad's friendship, especially when she was told that he would use any girl and then drop her. Yet she couldn't help loving him.
