(2018)
A novel by

On the eve of his fiftieth birthday, Berchum Grill goes out on the town to reaffirm his own virility. When he decides to stray on his wife of twenty-six years, karma isn't the only thing that takes a bite out of him. The discovery of his mutilated body sends the quiet, low crime town of Seville into a tailspin

And so it begins. The town faces trouble, especially with Sheriff Will Bryant at the helm. By his own admittance, he doesn't do much except issue a lot of traffic citations. He is more than happy the people of his town go to Horner on the Corner Detective Agency for the little stuff. George Horner and his oddball team are gurus at solving everything from missing cats to stolen library books

However, as the body count rises, and unexplainable events occur, they find themselves working together to stop whatever it is that preys upon Seville. It is bigger than they imagine.

Not only does the town of Seville depend on them, but the fate of humanity does, as well.
