"Birds," the movie by Alfred Hitchcock doesn't scare me. I've been in flocks of doves, like pewter clouds, and have never been attacked. In fact, when I spy a bird, I try to get closer. Which is easy when you live in the countryside of South Georgia. Fall and spring we wait for them to fly over our farmplace. Okay, so we shoot and feast on certain birds--it's a seasonal celebration.
