At almost one-hundred, Nun is at the mercy of her caretaker, a bitter black woman who has personal problems of her own. Even when family visits Nun, the caretaker continues to quarrel and complain, and the family placates the woman in order to keep her on the job. Otherwise, as they all know, Nun will wind up in an "old folks home" for the rest of her days.
