Mary Sue and the Petal Pink Curse

(2025)
A Story by

Yesterday, I was just a boringly average and pathetic girl—no parents, no money, no job… and no manicure! But overnight I became the magical queen of my own hidden kingdom, trapped in a mansion with two perfectly perfect muscle-bound alpha male beefcakes. I even have a brand new Petal Pink manicure. What more could a girl want?

But of course, every magical queen has her challenges. I think my weird butler might be senile (OMG he has to be like over 40! Practically
ancient.) And this nerdy, not-perfect Evil Wizard keeps insisting it’s all an illusion and calling me by an ugly nickname. And worst of all? He’s wearing socks with sandals.

If I were anyone else, I might think something suspicious is going on, but nope! I’m just a girl, living her best life…

Mary Sue and the Curse of the Petal Pink is a spoof story that I wrote with the help of some ideas from my patrons during COVID lockdown. The whole purpose of this story was to poke fun at all the tired old romance and reverse harem tropes we see used over and over again and have some ridiculous fun. But don’t worry, while Mary Sue’s journey starts out with groans and eye rolls, there’s more to the story than meets the eye'''.

*This story is a short and sweet standalone novella with witchy/paranormal vibes.
