I thought Death Valley Ridge was just another stop on a random road trip with my best friend.
When Elise and I get invited to a local Halloween party, I almost say no. Something about the town feels off, but Elise convinces me to go. By the end of the night, she’s taken something she shouldn’t have and then she disappears.
I go looking for her and what I find makes no sense. Reality begins to fracture around me, twisting into something I can’t explain. Suddenly, I wake up somewhere I shouldn’t be with no recollection as to how or why I got there in the first place.
Elise is gone.
