I know that buying Natasha at the demon auction was an indulgence, but a Demon King needs an attractive plaything to unwind with occasionally.
Until I discover that she’s a demon hunter out to avenge her parents’ murders. Then I plan to demonstrate to her in painful detail why I’m the most feared and the cruelest demon in the realm.
In the heat of the moment, I almost miss the truth—I need her.
With the Shadow Master rumored to be planning an uprising, her abilities could be put to good use. Not that she has a choice. The only way I’ll let her live is if she pledges her servitude to me. If she agrees against her will, I’ll only enjoy it more.
